Innov’ATM Raises 1,000,000€ To Accelerate its Development Internationally

Innov’ATM, young startup company specializing in solutions to optimize air traffic management, completes a new fundraiser of 1 million euros to support the diversification of its activities in the promising field of UAV traffic management (UTM) and to continue developing its growing branch of airport systems.

Since its beginnings in 2014, the innovative air traffic management solutions developed by the young company have experienced great success in the Air Traffic Management (ATM) industry, a domain which englobes the different systems used by air traffic controllers, enabling planes to land, take off, taxi and progress through the airspace securely. UTM is a system that completes ATM, which has become necessity due to the increase of drones on the market and their impact on the management of air traffic, it combines the different systems to safeguard, protect and manage permissions for the use of drones. The system brings together the activities of air traffic controllers, local authorities, airports and sensitive sites, as well as professionals, amateurs and all other concerned parties.

Accompanied by BPI and its historical investor IRDI SORIDEC Gestion with its seed fund IRDInov, Innov’ATM has already charmed the Swiss air navigation service provider (skyguide), the French civil aviation (DGAC) and the Groupe Aéroport de Paris (ADP). With the success of ATM and UTM projects at Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport, Innov’ATM was able to demonstrate the efficiency of its solutions, allowing Groupe ADP to reap the benefits on its airport hubs.

It is within this context that Groupe ADP wanted to support the business development of the growing company, in its international expansion and its quest towards optimizing the airspace further, to answer to the future challenges of congestion.

It is essential that, as of today, we explore more efficient ways of dealing with the rapid growth of air transport, such as improving passenger capacity and air traffic management. This is a challenge not only for Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, which has the potential to accommodate 75 million passengers by 2020, but for runways around the world, along with other issues such as reducing emissions. Our critical fundraising efforts will enable entrepreneurs to accelerate their companies’ growth, global expansion and product development in collaboration with Groupe ADP, operating throughout our network of airports both in France and abroad
Edward Arkwright

Deputy CEO, Groupe ADP

IRDInov renews its faith and joins Groupe ADP with a new investment, two years after its entry into capital. Since 2016, IRDInov saw the small team expand, grow and confront new challenges in France and mostly, internationally.
Two years after our first intervention, we are delighted to welcome among us Groupe ADP which corroborates Innov’ATM’s development potential
Séverine Taillades

Partner, IRDI SORIDEC Gestion

This investment will enable Innov’ATM to accentuate, not only its research activities to improve the use of the airspace, but also its conquest of emerging opportunities in ATM and UTM on an international scale.
This fund raiser will allow us to consolidate and diversify our innovative solutions based on the introduction of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the changing air traffic management services. Until recently, the primary objective of air traffic management was to ensure security, we are now able to maintain the same level of security and offer tools oriented towards optimization and efficiency.
Amine Karray

CEO, Innov'ATM

The entry of Groupe ADP into our capital is for us, the embodiment of a successful new collaboration on innovative products. This major actor in airport management will allow us to reinforce our collaboration and open doors to new markets worldwide.
Stéphane Bascobert

President, Innov'ATM
